Tools for School
Tools for School provides age-appropriate backpacks, school supplies, and shoes for all PreK – 12th grade students living in Delaware County.
Tools for School is an event that has been hosted on a Saturday in late July at the Delaware County Fairgrounds. It is not possible without the help of our hundreds of volunteers who help plan, organize and host on a year-round basis. If you would like to volunteer with us, please fill out our volunteer form.
Eligibility Requirements
- Delaware County students only
- Children must be present to receive school supplies and shoes
- Provide a photo ID
- Parent or legal guardian must accompany all children through 8th grade
- 9th – 12th grade students may come without an adult but need to provide a photo ID

Coats Against the Cold
Coats Against the Cold provides new or gently used winter coats, hats, gloves, and scarves for both children and adults that live in Delaware County.

- All adults must provide a state issued ID or Driver’s License
- All family members must be present to receive clothing items
